X-Men #2 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Jonathan Hickman, Leinil Francis Yu, and more. We’ve got a preview below, which finally answers the question: what if Jonathan Hickman decided to keep just one thing from the ResurrXion era, and it was Rachel changing her codename to “Prestige?”

Years ago, Scott Summer abandoned his wife and newborn child to chase down his ex-girlfriend who had recently returned from the dead. He later tossed that same child through a time portal to the future. But in X-Men #2, we find Cyclops making amends, planning a Daddy/Children fun day with both Cable and Prestige.

Of course, fun time for the Summers family is a little bit different than most, and by different, we mean more heavily armed.

Though perhaps not heavily armed enough?
