Nightwing has another ally – The Truth. As represented by news presenter Walter Cronkite.

CBS news anchor Walter Cronkite, of course, famously manipulated an interview with President Johnson, reshooting himself asking questions to give reactions he never gave during the interview, something you’d be fired for today. There were the Pan Am jollies around the world for him and his family that were never declared. And he narrated propaganda anti-communist films on screen for the Pentagon.

But as Nightwing’s version seems to note, if the myth gets bigger than the man, print the myth….
