Josceline Fenton first published her webcomic Hemlock in print in 2011 with her first volume. A fairy tale set in the forests of 19th century Scandinavia, it follows the life of a witch named Lumi and her unfortunate familiar Tristan. Winner of the “Emerging Talent” award at the British Comic Awards 2012, volumes came out semi-regularly until volume 4 in 2013.
Around then Fenton got very popular indeed, working on the Steven Universe, Adventure Time and Regular Show comic books for Boom Studios.
But this weekend, she will be appearing at MCM London Comic Con with the long-awaited Hemlock volume 5. Which begins like this…
