In a shining example that the rest of the world can hopefully follow suit, Gail Simone and Rob Schneider have ended their blood feud over whether or not Tim Hortons is the Rob Schneider of donut shops. It was Schneider who made the first move, tweeting a public apology to Simone.
I’m sorry, Gail. That wasn’t nice.
I don’t know who you are but whatever you have against me or Tim Horton’s I’m sure you have your reasons.— Rob Schneider (@RobSchneider) September 8, 2018
And Simone accepted the apology, calling for a cessation of hostilities on the part of her forces, who had been retaliating against Schneider for siccing his own fans on Simone.
Guys, Rob has me blocked, so I never figured my harmless joke would reach him. It is not mean-spirited, it doesn’t even make sense. He apologized for sending his fans at me, I accepted, I think it’s all very silly and nothing to get upset about. :)

And already, the spirit of peace is spreading throughout the realm.
UPDATE: this turned out fine, me and @Jahilianaire are buddies now, and also Rob deleted the original tweet where he had sicced his followers on Gail. He didn't mean to unleash a harassment mob. Everything's fine! People are good! Go do something else! pic.twitter.com/zdQFUYgyMV

The calm marks the first time tensions have been so low since Simone tweeted that Canadian donut chain Tim Hortons was the Rob Schneider of donut shops on Saturday, prompting Schneider to post a screenshot of Simone’s tweet and direct his followers to attack Simone.

As tempers flared, Twitter was on the brink of war, but it seems that cooler heads have prevailed, with the two parties setting aside their differences and agreeing to peacefully coexist, with Simone downplaying the hostilities as “no biggie.”
It was, but people make mistakes and he apologized AND I have been kidding about this for a while. It’s all no biggie. :). https://t.co/exwyRPGvoS

At press time, however, Tim Hortons was reportedly looking toward strengthening ties with its heavily-armed allies as a precaution against the conflict flaring up once again and dragging the donut chain down with it.
We hope our donuts are always your fire, the one desire
Great job, @SaskatoonPolice! https://t.co/gLfFYNtgiC

Fanboy Rampage was a blog by Graeme “Graham” McMillan dedicated to the funniest, most ludicrous and most inappropriate comic book back-and-forths online. McMillan has moved on now, becoming a proper journalist for the likes of The Hollywood Reporter and Wired but he gave permission to Bleeding Cool, the Rob Schneider of comic book websites, to revive his great creation.
