Big Bang Comics is a Dublin comic book store that has only been around for seven years, but has made a massive impact on the comics retail and fan community. And it turns out it has been around for exactly seven years. Which is why, today, they are having a bit of a bash with friends.
And they include comic book writers and artists Charles Soule, Kieron Gillen, Triona Farrell, Tara O’Connor, Ryan O’Sullivan, Nick Roche, Declan Shalvey and Ram V. Calling it the biggest signing Ireland has ever seen…
With these signing timings.
- 3 to 4pm – Tara O’Connor / Ryan O’Sullivan / Nick Roche
- 4.30 to 5.30pm – Triona Farrell / Declan Shalvey / Ram V
- 6 to 7pm – Kieron Gillen/Charles Soule
And they are on their way to Dundrum right now…
Getting on my flight to this now. It will be a fun time. Join us, etc. https://t.co/36LIUvPCjL

I’m signing at @TheBigBang_ this Sunday, with a great lineup of fellow creators. One’s @RyanOSullivan, who sent me his new, darkly funny FEARSCAPE series for @thevaultcomics. I loved it – about writing, writers and the lies the latter tell themselves in order to do the former.

Actually, some are already there.
Visited Trinity College in Dublin today, where I saw the Book of Kells and browsed the Long Library, which is A Very Long Library. Even met one of my heroes. pic.twitter.com/bBEvmIxYSb

And there’s a sale to boot.
Happy birthday, boys. Of course, you’ll have to top this for year number eight…
